Fickle Seasons

Spring has come?
Is it time yet to unzip coats,
Shed hats, tear off gloves,
Put away the boots?
Daffodils show their yellow faces
The robins are back from vacation
Conducting the dawn chorus
Green is in the air
The forecast for tomorrow: Snow.

  1. She certainly is fickle this year! As I posted on another's poem, I read a funny thing recently that said this year's winter is like a ticked-off fried storming out of the room who keeps coming back in and yelling "and ANOTHER thing!" ;)

  4. This speaks to spring where I am. I like how the beginning and end of your poem interact. I don’t put anything away until May (for good luck ;)

  5. Snow or freezing rain. I like the indecision in the first line.
