She plucked the long awaited fruit
Watched the buds appear and grow
The leaves spread out wide and green
Branches climbing through the sky
Slim stem broadening to solid trunk
Sapling rising shyly up
A tiny shoot, burst of green
Soil over the seed set in earth
She made room for the tree
