Reflected

Causeway through the sea runs wide
With glinting water either side
Only thread between pier and castle
Parted by water's glimmering babble
In this fluttering mirror appears
Shadow of the sky austere
Silhouette of a knight riding tantivy
Her armor flashing in the sea

  4. A fairy tale, a knight in the sea, riding dolphins perhaps? Very interesting tale.

  5. I learned a new word, "tantivy". I noticed the knight was female. I also liked your use of rhyme.

  8. I really love the galloping rhythm and flow of your Quadrille, which is enhanced by the rhyme scheme. And a female knight - just wonderful!
