A Walk Through the Garden

for dVerse
Magic in the garden
growing greens,
gold topped dill strands.

Some giving sweet fragrance
waterfalling wisteria,
waxy moon full gardenias.

Bright cheerful healing herbs
St. John’s-wort,
and soothing, gentle lavender.

Beauty at every sight,
glowing roses,
faint forget-me-nots float fairy-like.

Do not forget,
kiss-me-over-the-garden-gate.

Kiss-me-over-the-garden-gate is a real plant with a name that has always fascinated me.
