Stained Glass

for dVerse

The sun
Shines through the glass
Tracing bright patterns on
The floor in red and green and blue
Falling down like magic. Changing the room
Into a chamber of wonder
Filling eyes with delight
Do you see them
Glisten?
Staring wide at
Those ancient glass windows
Catching and holding slippery light
Suspended in black frames by human hands
Faces staring down while we stare up
Caught ourselves in wonder
By dancing light
Golden.

  6. Lovely memories came into mind reading about the glass in your whimsy atmosphere from stained glass colors. My favorite kind of window additions. Stirred my thoughts!

  7. Very nice falling diamonds...I see one side as opposed to two I think and you can build on this one and make it longer...wonderful subject!

  9. Beautiful, magical description of a Technicolor view often taken for granted. Bright and vivid. I enjoyed this.
