Prodigious Punxsutawney Phil
Poked his head outside his hill
Displaying his special skill
Searching for his shadow’s spill
He searched and was searching ’til
The answer arrived with quite a trill
Giving everyone a springy thrill
For of winter we’ve all had our fill
