I used Caron Simply Soft Party yarn to make these fingerless gloves. I used approximately 56 grams / 108 yards for both gloves. 1 ball of Caron Simply Soft Party or something similar will have enough yarn to make both gloves.
Hook used: H/5.00mm
Stitches and Abbreviations:
st/sts - refers to any stitch or stitches whether it be a chain, or double crochet, or something else.
ch - chain
sl st - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
fpdc - front post double crochet. For a video tutorial see here.
bpdc - back post double crochet. For a video tutorial see here.
The number of stitches in each row is given at the end in parentheses. For example (34 sts).
The ch2 at beginning of rows does not count as a stitch. Do not include it in your stitch counts, or join to the ch2 at the end of each row. Join to the first actual dc or sc crocheted in each row, this will make your seam neater and nearly invisible.
