Love me like salt
That seasons every dish
In pale pink granules
The last remains of a forgotten sea
Turning meals from fodder to feast
Vapid existence to vibrant scintillating fire
With this spice of life
My love for you and yours for me
So true - salt is the essence, just like love.
ReplyDeletePink sea salt ... the very best!
ReplyDeleteSalt - you really notice when it's not there, right?
ReplyDeleteI like the sensuality in this Quadrille and I especillay like teh line:

Salt does so many things...preserves,flavors, heals, enhances...love this!
ReplyDeleteChefs do say that salt enhances the taste of things....I love a green apple with salt!
